- One item, quantity 1
- The gift is its own line in the cart, at €0.00 and without a quantity field. The quantity is fixed, nobody can collect two copies of the same reward.
- Stock and sales move with it
- After test order 10000 the gifted variant was listed with sales 1 and stock 49, while its sibling variant stayed at 0 and 50. To Shopware a gift is a sale.
- Name and image come from the product
- That is the default. A setting switches to the name you maintained on the reward entry instead, for instance "Gift from €100".
- The customer may decline
- The gift is removable. Whoever deletes it does not get it put back by the automation while the cart lives.

What that means for your stock.
Because the reward is an ordinary product item, everything Shopware does for products applies to it: stock goes down with the order, the sales counter goes up, and your ERP receives a line with a real product number. For your calculation that means: you are giving away an article, not a discount. If you would rather reduce the value of the cart, take one of the two discounts.
Not available means not selectable. For variants the tile only shows active and available ones. If a parent product has no available variant at all, the tile disappears entirely instead of looking broken.
